Claires Court pupils picked up their paints, clay, pencils, and other equipment to create artwork to be entered into the ISA National Art competition.
The competition is held annually and is an opportunity to showcase pupils' talent and art work. Multiple age groups and artistic genres are covered; this allows creativity to be expressed using any style or technique.
Congratulations to:
- Hugo (Junior Boy) for winning the National competition with his sculpture titled ‘me'
- Bryn (Senior Boy) for winning with his painting titled ‘The Boat in Batik’
- Phillip (Junior Boy) who received a commendation for his drawing titled ‘Mini-Beast’. This award has only been won once in the past 22 years.
The ISA National Art competition judged submissions from 137 different schools, across 7 regions. Please see all finalist's pieces here. Well done to everyone who took part.
